VIOLENCE IN A WOMEN'S WORLD

I actually started writing a product review, but then something stopped me drastically. My mind was diverted into few other things, din't know what happen all of a sudden, but then understood I was absolutely not in a mood to swatch something, edit something or even scribble something. In a terrific mood, jumping here and there, I turned on my computer. started googling   researching about the recent Gangrape case in Mumbai, that was a indigestable shock after a very long time. At first, when I heard or saw it in the television , I was not so attracted towards it. I mean I felt it has become too common. I told myself , " Oh , come on baby, nothing too new to get banged towards it", you have heard it already, cried for it enough". ( Yes, I cried for almost two hours at December 31, 2012 ;'( ). Though I din't want to know more about that, some inner voice made me think about it.

Just like a ordinary girl, I started typing, "Mumbai gangrape case". TADAAA , Mr. Google flaunted with the results. if you don't understand what I'm thinking about then, its all about the recent terrible gangrape case in Mumbai. The gang-rape of a 22-year-old Mumbai magazine photojournalist has created a stir across the country. This happened none other than a place known as the heart of Mumbai. Pretty shocking.I randomly selected one and started reading that page. I read not more than five lines, then closed  the page without any second thought. came back, sat on my sofa.

*angel* *angel* *angel*
Angels inside me that wakes up when something or anything that happens around is terrible or horrible woke up suddenly. I burst out with anger. All that I could think was where is India going? Where is my motherland moving? Is this the future's place? Isn't my country a safe place for a women? What goes wrong when something tends to be unmanageable? Am I right, am I wrong? Actually, more than this. All that I want to say is, " GOD BLESS HITLER". * anger * * anger*

A girl being 'teased' , or ' cat-called',or the object of obscene comments in public places- are these uncommon scenes? Aren't girls stalked after dusk in every city? Violence against women is as old as humanity, but it is only in the past decade that it has been publicly recognized, studied and legislated( No no I am not a law student).

Violence unabated - Violence against women and girls is the most pervasive violation of human rights in the world today.  its forms are both subtle and blatant and its impact on development profound'?.
According to women activist groups and researchers atrocities perpetrated on a woman may various forms.

Women in India especially are tortured into various atrocities , physically assaulted and bodily injured, sexual indecent behaviour, verbal use of filthy language, societal humiliation in public, emotionally deprived of love and care, financial restriction means of support or of earning on her own, intellectually compelled to submit to all that the husband says, even other forms deprived of educational, medical and political rights.

Oppression of women and girls stems from the power invested in the male section of society. This is a perception, deep and unconscious, but staunchly persistent, which reads: women are of less value than men; they are inferior'. As long as this perception persists little change can be expected in the condition of women in India.

Oh yes, WAKE UP MOTHER  INDIA WAKE UP. If you think your daughters need to be in a safe and secure place that wishes her well all the days of her life, which every mother wants by all her heart then wake up your sons and call them blessed.

Friends, not just my individual thought can be able to change this society, its our unity, our cooperation, our dedication that's going to make our mother India a purest form of land that protects her girls from evils and dangers, thus making it a violence free nation. JAI HIND.

  6. No words to say. Today after I heard that the Dec16 incident culprits have been given capital punishment, I was relived as well as felt sick in the stomach when I thought what they did to that girl on that dreadful night. Whether it happens in Delhi or Mumbai or any remote area in Orissa or WB or any other state for that matter, it shakes us from inside. Please govt, wake up!
